Whah. So hot. Can't go to the beach, though. So I have no other choice but to tolerate, as much as I can, this awful heat. Summer isn't fun when you're not swimming at the beach. Or just not swimming. At all.

Plus, I haven't written anything for so long. Baah.  Aside from scholarly essays, that is.

Candy canes, chocolates. Children a-caroling. Bright, colorful lights. Blinking, blinking, blinking. An enormous white Christmas tree decked with silver and golden angels charmed to sing wonderful hymns repeatedly. Humongous red socks hanging on the walls.

“Harry, I simply refuse! Nothing Muggle shall ever make its way inside this house while I am still alive.”             

I’ve learned to love Christmas the Muggle way, Harry. I hope you are happy...

...because I’m beginning to think I’m sadomasochistic in a way. Christmas should never be this melancholy.

I wish you would come back to me. Christmas would never be the same without you.
